The Indian Ocean is the third largest body of water in the world and it is home to some of the most beautiful places that are filled with exciting things to do and see.

1.     Madagascar

Madagascar is off the southeast coast of Africa and it is a great place to explore ancient ruins, and view lemurs. Antananarivo is the capital city and it is close to Ambohimanga, an area that is filled with royal palaces, burial grounds, and a road that is lined with trees that are hundreds of years old. From here you can head off into the rainforests to view leaping lemurs in their natural setting.

2.     Kerala

When you arrive in Kerala you’ll find that it is one of the greenest states in India and this beautiful place on the south west coast is a great place for visitors. The local cuisine is fabulous so be sure to indulge every chance that you get. Charter a houseboat and explore the tranquil emerald green backwaters to see beautiful nature and relax in serenity.
